Privacy policy
Clio stores your salon's records — clients, service history, and revenue — in a hosted Postgres database operated by Supabase. Records are encrypted in transit and at rest.
Your salon's data is isolated from every other salon at the database level. Access is enforced by row-level security policies, so a request can only ever return rows belonging to your own salon. Each team member sees only what the salon owner has granted them.
Clio keeps a read-only copy of recently viewed data in your browser so the app stays usable if your connection drops. Changes are not saved while offline.
Clio does not sell your data, and does not share it with third parties for marketing. To request an export or the deletion of your salon's records, email info@cliohq.app.
An earlier version of this page said your records stayed on your own computer. That described a desktop version that was never shipped, and it was wrong. This page describes how Clio actually works.
